About This Program

Wisconsin's statewide choice program extends voucher access beyond Milwaukee and Racine to families across the entire state. Eligible families must have household income at or below 220% of the federal poverty level to receive vouchers for private school tuition.

How to Apply

Apply through the DPI Parent Application Portal at sms.dpi.wi.gov/ChoiceParent. Applications open February 1 and close April 20 each year. Required documents include proof of income and Wisconsin residency. Email: PrivateSchoolChoice@dpi.wi.gov.
