About This Program

The Racine Parental Choice Program extends Milwaukee's voucher model to the Racine Unified School District. Families with income at or below 300% of the federal poverty level can use vouchers for tuition at participating private schools in the Racine area.

How to Apply

Apply through the DPI Parent Application Portal at sms.dpi.wi.gov/ChoiceParent. Applications open February 1 and close April 20 each year. Required documents include proof of income and Racine residency. Email: PrivateSchoolChoice@dpi.wi.gov.
