BOOST Scholarship Program
Voucher in Maryland
About This Program
Maryland's Broadening Options and Opportunities for Students Today (BOOST) program provides vouchers for low-income students to attend participating nonpublic schools. Created in 2016, it is means-tested using Free and Reduced Price Meals (FARMs) income guidelines. Award amounts determined annually by the BOOST Advisory Board. Only about 24% of K-12 students are income-eligible, and less than 1% of eligible students are funded.
