About This Program
Illinois' Invest in Kids Act (2017) provided 75% income tax credits to individuals and businesses that donated to Scholarship Granting Organizations. Scholarships funded private school tuition for K-12 students from families at or below 300% FPL, with priority for those at or below 185% FPL. The program sunset on December 31, 2023 and was not renewed by the state legislature.
