Florida's largest school choice program provides education savings accounts to all K-12 students. Funds can be used for private school tuition, tutoring, therapy, curriculum, and other approved educational expenses. The program became universally available after the 2023 expansion.
Family Empowerment Scholarship - Unique Abilities (FES-UA)
Florida's special needs ESA program serves students with disabilities and unique abilities. It provides flexible funding for private school tuition, specialized therapies, assistive technology, and other individualized services. Formerly known as the Gardiner Scholarship.
Florida Tax Credit Scholarship
One of the nation's oldest and largest tax credit scholarship programs, the FTC provides scholarships to low-income families funded by corporate tax credit donations. Eligible families must have household income at or below 185% of the federal poverty level.
Family Empowerment Scholarship - Hope
The Hope Scholarship provides vouchers for students who have been subjected to bullying, harassment, or other safety concerns at their public school. Students with disabilities who have been assigned to a school other than their zoned school are also eligible.
Reading Scholarship Accounts
Reading Scholarship Accounts provide supplemental funds for students in grades 3-5 who score below grade level on the statewide reading assessment. Funds can be used for tutoring, curriculum materials, and other reading-focused instructional services.
