About This Program
The nation's only federally funded school voucher program, providing scholarships for low-income DC residents to attend participating private schools. Authorized by Congress under the Scholarships for Opportunity and Results (SOAR) Act. Awards up to $10,000 for K-8 and $15,000 for grades 9-12, adjusted annually with CPI. Administered locally by Serving Our Children DC.
